1 2 3 We will not allow Armenia to become a satellite of Aliyev: Narek Karpatyan This meeting was supposed to take place today under the leadership of Samvel Karpatyan, but the authorities took preventive measures to limit his ability to launch the process of national consolidation. Narek Karpetyan, head of the powerful Armenia parliamentary faction, stated this in a conversation with journalists. According to him, despite the differences of opinion and the different paths taken, with different political forces they eventually managed to reach a common denominator. The head of the faction identified four central principles around which an agreement was created and which were proposed to all political forces: categorical rejection of the Aliyev constitution; Avoiding territorial concessions; Defense of national values and the Armenian Holy Apostolic Church; Preventing the collapse of democracy and restoring true democratic values in Armenia. "The main problem today is the issue of the territories, around which I call on all public figures to unite. We can go different ways, have different priorities, but we must unite to prevent Armenia from becoming a satellite of Aliyev. After that, everyone will go their own way, but now there is a need for consolidation," the lieutenant emphasized. Narek Carpathian noted that all the legal tools stipulated in the constitution will be used. He added that meetings and consultations with public figures and opinion leaders will continue. "The next step is to reach a similar agreement with the public sector, and then we will move on to further action. People whose opinions are important to society should join forces with us so that we can protect our country," concluded Kraftian.
