1 2 3 What is happening has nothing to do with the ruling: Narek Carpathian What kind of abuse can a person commit to his company, which he owns 100 percent? The head of the Strong Armenia faction, Narak Karaftyan, stated this in a conversation with journalists in front of the building of the Department of Investigations for Economic Affairs, regarding the arrest of the party's leader Sambal Karaftyan. Referring to the investigative committee's report according to which Sembal Karaftian allegedly caused damage to the Electricity Networks Company of Armenia in the amount of 64.5 billion drams, as part of which he was arrested, and criminal proceedings were opened against 36 other people, Narak Karaftyan noted: "It's the same as a person taking money out of his pocket and putting it in another pocket. If you have a newspaper or a shop that you own 100 percent, how can you abuse yourself? The hope of the authorities is that our society does not have legal literacy, but our people are very literate and understand very well that none of this has anything to do with the ruling." According to the head of the faction, the ongoing processes are purely political in nature, and the charges are unfounded. Subscribe to Alpha News VK Zen Website TikTok Facebook Instagram YouTube X.
