You probably have a dispute with Katsav": Vardavanyan to the deputy from the "GD" Katsav's report already speaks openly about selective persecution in the Republic of Armenia. Let's stop the political persecution first, and only then will we talk about what actions can be taken in Armenia. The Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly, Aram Vardvanian, stated this in the National Assembly, in a speech to the Parliament from the Civil Contract faction of Sisak Gabrielian. Referring to the issue of non-partisanship of the candidate for the Supreme Judicial Council, Karen Arostamiyan, Vardavanyan asked if he attended the last meeting of the "GD". In response, Gabrielian stated that he could not know whether Erostamian was present at the rally or not, and offered to address this question directly to the candidate himself. He also added that none of the representatives of the "GD" yeshiva invited Erostamian to this meeting. Vardavanyan, in turn, questioned the large number of the mentioned rally, noting that the Katsav report also documented facts of abuse of administrative resources, as well as group and individual pressure on citizens. "Apparently you have a dispute with Katsav, which in itself is a new and quite interesting culture," the deputy concluded, contradicting Gabrielian's words.
