The parties discussed the progress in the implementation of the strategic agenda for the partnership between Armenia and the European Union, as well as the prospects for further deepening of the bilateral cooperation. Special attention was given to strengthening Armenia's economic and energy sustainability, including measures to diversify trade. In this regard, Ararat Mirzoan emphasized the importance of maximizing the opportunities offered by the adoption of the EU regulation on autonomous trade preferences for Armenian goods. Also, the participants of the meeting exchanged views on steps to strengthen and institutionalize peace in the region, and discussed projects for the development of transportation infrastructure with the participation of Armenia within the "Crossroads of the World" concept.
