An analysis of satellite images by the Wall Street Journal revealed the extent of the damage caused to US military installations across West Asia during the first six months of the US-Israel war in Iran. The investigation identified 274 damaged structures at 24 facilities in seven countries, including housing facilities where US soldiers sleep. One of the "deadliest attacks" occurred on July 17, when an Iranian attack on Jordan's Moffak Salti Air Base killed three American servicemen and damaged 19 buildings used to house soldiers.
