On October 24, an al-Mayadeens reporter in southern Lebanon reported on Israeli airstrikes on the village of Tabnet and the area between Yether and Beit Leif, as well as on artillery shelling in Hadata. An explosion was also reported in al-Khyam, al-Taiba and Kafr Tabnet. The continuation of the Israeli attacks, despite the "ceasefire" agreement and the framework agreement mediated and signed by the United States, did not deter the residents of southern Lebanon from holding on to their land. While Israeli forces continue to destroy homes and properties, South Lebanese residents remain determined to remain in their villages, maintaining their inherent right to return and rebuild.
