Not only that the Houthi militia robbed the Taha al-Ma'mari media company and its assets in Sana'a since 2021 and handed down an unjust death sentence and looted the rest in 2024 AD, but pursued him, following his recent advance in the southwestern region of Taiz, to his hometown in the "Bnei Omar" region, leaving his home and the property of his family and his family. This is what our colleague Taha Al-Ammari revealed in a report to the Syndicate of Journalists and human rights organizations, in which he reported receiving threatening and blackmailing messages via WhatsApp. The messenger of one of them turned to him and said: "I am Bnei Omar in your hometown. I swear by the Almighty God that I will not leave you in Bnei Omer, not even a grave that you can enter." Al-Ma'mari said that his investigations revealed that the sender of the threats was called "Sam Muhammad al-Qadi", and he is the same person who previously supervised the storming and confiscation of his company in Sana'a, in his role as an envoy of the Houthi "Judicial Guard", before joining the group's "thwarting security service". His company's former accountant was accused of providing the Houthi leader with information about his family's assets and inciting their confiscation, and facilitating the infiltration of the group's militants into Taiz via al-Waziah, taking advantage of his knowledge of the area after joining the militia's "preventive security" service. Al-Maamari warned that threats are now affecting the safety of his brothers, sisters, relatives and their homes in Bnei Umar, and are holding the Houthis and the two aforementioned men responsible for any attack on them or their property. On Thursday, a Yemeni journalist syndicate demanded that the new threats be investigated, that the death sentence be overturned and his confiscated property be returned.
