A ballistic missile launched by the Houthi militia exploded, on Sunday evening, near the "Al-Firdous" camp for displaced people in the Buraika district, west of the interim capital, Aden, causing a state of fear and panic among displaced families from the western coastal areas of Taiz and Hodeidah, without causing human casualties. Local sources told Al-Masdr Online that the missile, which was launched by the militia towards Aden, exploded in an area near the Al-Firdaus camp in the Salah Al-Din area of Al-Buriqa district, and confirmed that there were no casualties or injuries as a result of the incident. According to local residents, the missile was launched from mountainous areas to the east of the Yav subdistrict, and after a short time a flight of military planes was carried out over the subdistrict's airspace, at the same time as local residents reported to the "Al-Masdr Online" reporter that they heard the loud explosion in the Salah al-Din area. The camp houses thousands of families who were forced to flee their homes as a result of the Houthi military escalation during the past months in the western coastal districts of Taiz and Hodeidah Laoud governorates.
