Musician and public figure Misha Mvashi (Mikhail Nitsa) died on the night of October 24-25, 2026 in Voronezh. According to media reports, the cause of death was a gunshot wound to the upper left side of the head. At the time of the incident, the artist's wife was in the next room: upon hearing the sound, she found her husband in a serious condition and immediately called an ambulance. The musician was referred to the intensive care unit at the "Elektronika" hospital, connected to a ventilator, but he could not be saved - death was due to cerebral edema and heavy blood loss.
In the artist's environment, they insist on the accident version. In a video message, the representative of the artist Alexander Lebedev, who heads the St. Petersburg branch of the "Northern Man" movement, urged not to spread rumors or draw hasty conclusions until verification is complete. He denied publications about a possible suicide and said that we are talking about a tragic coincidence of circumstances. 10 days before Mawashi's death, he got married. The Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Voronezh Region has confirmed the initiation of a preliminary investigation. The department's official commentary states that a system of verification measures is being carried out, and the tests required to clarify all the circumstances and causes of the incident have been listed. No criminal case has yet been opened. At the same time, the investigation examines several versions, including negligent handling of the weapon. Testimonies of neighbors attracted special attention in media publications. They told the Baza tg channel that hearing is very good in the house - even normal conversations can be heard through the walls. On the day of the tragedy, it was a day off, and many residents were at home, but no one recorded the sound of a gunshot, or signs of a struggle, or any commotion.
Another detail is the absence of a guard, who almost always accompanied Mawashi.
