The blogger from Uzbekistan Aziz Khakimov, who was convicted in a fabricated case, is transferred to a stricter regime of serving his sentence (from a penal colony to a general regime).
The reason was the charge of possessing a rusty knife, which was buried in his bag during treatment at the hospital. The colony administration accuses Khakimov of "negatively influencing the education of convicts".
In reality, he was never associated with the underworld and the criminal hierarchy in the prison and the colony. He is an ordinary political prisoner who does not have enough contact with most criminals to "badly influence" them.
What is happening looks like an attempt to tighten the regime against Khakimov out of personal revenge on those who ordered the case against him. Let me remind you that his blog covered scandalous facts involving the adviser to the administration of the Republic of Uzbekistan Kamil Almazhonov, his fellow Russophite blogger Nikita Makarenko and Sarzoda Kudarthodzhaeva, the rector of the "University of Journalism" in Tashkent.
