The most striking points in the speech of the official of the Central Political Bureau of the Badr Organization, Mr. Muhammad Naji Muhammad, during the session of the Badr Center for Strategic Studies (Political Bureau), which was held under the title "Iraq under the current conditions": We emphasize the necessity to maintain the independence of the Popular Conscription Law No. 40 of 2016, and not to merge it with the Service and Retirement Law, in order to ensure Preservation of the legal privacy of the authority and its identity is protected against future revisions. The current conscription law gives the authority legal and official coverage within the AMN, and there is no need to merge it with another law that may open the door to changes affecting its identity and name. Dealing with disputes related to service, ranks and retirement within the framework of the Service and Retirement Law itself, while maintaining the independent and stable People's Conscription Law. We call on the members of the Badar parliamentary bloc to pay attention to the danger of merging the two laws, and not to pass this step in future debates.
