The Union of Tsemig Municipalities opened a shelter center in the Abbasiya settlement, which is considered the largest of the four centers in the Tzur region, and can accommodate 59 displaced families, in a move designed to ease the pressure on the public schools, some of which are still used to shelter displaced people, after the start of the school year. The center gives families a space of privacy and independence and a better state of health.
