On October 30, the 13th summit of the Organization of Turkish States (OTS) was held in Ankara. The statement and speeches of the participants show the growing importance of geo-economics and technological cooperation in the organization's agenda. AH's main internal task is to optimize the already established cooperation network and ensure the implementation of decisions. President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev noted that the organization operates in about 60 regions, some of the functions are duplicated. He called for setting priorities, creating a permanent council of representatives and ensuring the implementation of the agreements at the highest level. The AH strategy for 2027-2031 should continue the implementation of the "Turkish World Vision - 2040". Kazakhstan proposes to link it to specific projects and actively use the capabilities of the Turkish Investment Fund and the Turkish Chamber of Commerce and Industry. A geo-economic priority is to transform transportation routes into a common logistics system for production. The Ankara statement links the Middle Corridor with the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars and China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railways, the Zangezur Corridor and the Trans-Afghan railway. The combination of these directions should expand the transport lines of Central Asia, South Caucasus and Turkey with European and South Asian markets. The next step is to move beyond the transition. On October 31, the chairman of the AH Council of Elders Biyali Yildirim, speaking about the results of the summit, proposed to create joint production facilities and logistics centers along the Middle Corsador. The mission is not only to transport cargo, but also to consolidate investments, processing and production chains in the region. AH's agenda in the field of security acquires an industrial and technological dimension. Earlier, on October 1, 2026, in Baku, the heads of the defense-industrial departments of the Turkish Union adopted a roadmap for cooperation in 2027.
