China has suspended the export of petroleum products, including gasoline and diesel, until further notice.

This action was done in accordance with Beijing's efforts to preserve local resources and considering the reduction of fuel reserves in this country to the lowest level in more than a decade.

In this context, PetroChina has canceled most of its gasoline and jet fuel shipments scheduled for October.
