šŗš» Arrest of a factor related to the intelligence institutions of Bashar al-Assad's government by Turkey
Turkish intelligence forces arrested Omar al-Hatib, the suspect in the 2013 attack in the city of Rihanli, in which 53 people were killed, while he was trying to escape to Europe by sea.
He was on the Interpol Red List because of the planning for this ground attack and the coordination between the bombers and the intelligence agencies of the former Assad regime.
He also helped other attackers escape to Syria
