Erdogan: Mecca agreement is not against Iran

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan stressed that the Mecca joint defense agreement should not be seen as a coalition against Iran, Israeli prisoners or any other third party.

In his interview with Newsweek, Erdogan said that this agreement expresses the "shared responsibility" of Turkey and Saudi Arabia to create a more secure, peaceful and prosperous future in the region.
