The National Oil Company of Libya announced that technical teams cannot access valves 6 and 7, and continued pipeline closure will halt production at the Al-Sharrah field, disrupt exports, and shut down the Al-Zawiya refinery.

Al-Sharrah field is the largest oil field in Libya, usually producing about 300,000 barrels of oil per day and is one of the main sources of government revenue.

The national oil company of this country warned that if this situation continues, it may be forced to declare a state of emergency and requested this group to immediately open the pipeline and asked authorities to ensure the security of the oil facilities.
