Nutritionists made a sudden discovery about full fat milk.
For more than 40 years, we've been told we only need low-fat milk for a healthy heart and waistline. But new research from the University of Toronto. Scientists divided 74 overweight people into three groups: one ate no more than a serving of low-fat food, the other two ate three servings of whole milk. For 12 weeks, those who ate whole milk did not gain weight, cholesterol did not increase, and their metabolism did not slow down. Moreover, their blood pressure decreased and their nutrition improved - more calcium, protein and vitamin D. Why full-fat milk turned out to be harmless and what the "milk matrix hypothesis" is - they told here.
