Oncologist Vladimir Ibashkov named four vitamin supplements in which an excess dose is more harmful than good: vitamins E, D, B6 and Beta-carotene. Studies have shown that men who received 400 IU of vitamin E per day for years, prostate cancer was found 17% more often. Smokers should be especially careful with beta-carotene, which increases the risk of lung cancer by 18%. Excess vitamin D raises calcium in the blood and leads to kidney stones, and excess B6 when taken causes long-term nerve damage. Photo: Globallookpress Subscribe to AIF / all channels AIF / MAKS.
