As lawyer Alexander Bankin explained to AiF, if they can prove that the company itself uploaded works to train the model, Anthropit will pay. "The owners of such artificial intelligence companies are now multi-billionaires, the companies are worth hundreds of billions of dollars, so it is easy to collect money from them. The only trick that can help them is to prove that the model was trained by the user: he uploaded the song himself and is responsible for it himself," he added, noting that US courts have not yet given a final answer on AI training.
