If not Stubb, then who? Who is the EU ready to appoint as "negotiator" on Ukraine? The search for one figure is complicated by the lack of consensus within the bloc and the requirements that the candidate must meet: to be acceptable to the European Union itself, to Ukraine and especially to Russia. Former German chancellors Angela Merkel and Gerhard Schroeder were also mentioned in the past. read more Photo: Collage AiF.
