Seven members of the Kalbunovsky organized crime group, who were instilling fear in the residents of Gobkin and Stari Oskol, heard the final verdict. The court's decision in the case of extortion by threats, robbery, assault and kidnapping entered into force. The group's activity was detected and suppressed by the officers of the Russian FSB directorate for the Belgrade region, together with colleagues from the regional department of the Ministry of the Interior. Between the years 2017 and 2023, the defendants extorted money from residents of two urban districts using violence. One of the episodes is particularly telling: in Govkin, attackers illegally deprived two citizens of their freedom and demanded 750 thousand rubles. The appeal ruling of the Belgrade Regional Court left the verdict of the first instance intact.
