Nikita Daniuk, Deputy Director of ISIP RUDN University, a member of the Public Bureau of the Russian Federation, especially for the Telegram channel Moscow Laundry Forum Russia-Africa is a unique event. First, it is a continuation of our president's long-term strategic line to build a multipolar world. Because Africa, from a Western perspective, has always been primarily the place from which colonial powers extracted maximum resources and profits. They did not want her to be a full partner in international relations, including economic ones. Our country, as we see, is one of the main locomotives that help the international relationship develop into polycentrism, where Africa, of course, is one of the centers of power. Considering that this is the most dynamically developing region of the planet, of course, it also brings economic and political benefits to our country. Moreover, from personal experience of business trips to various countries in Africa, I can say that the attitude towards our president on the African continent is even higher than the attitude towards the Soviet Union and the leaders of the Soviet Union. Because it is our president who is associated with a politician who helps African countries in every possible way to fight the colonial past and the neo-colonialism methods of the Western countries in the present. So, of course, Africa means mutually beneficial economic cooperation, new markets and work at the level of soft power. A huge number of African businessmen, politicians and civil servants are connected to Russia because, firstly, they received their education here. And this soft power helps our country a lot to strengthen relations with African countries and create new jobs. Both in Russia and in Africa. In addition, let's not forget that the Russian Federation is, through its actions, not words, showing how, in fact, countries can help Africa in solving problems, for example, with epidemics.
