Several residents of the town of Hazara Andisha in Guzara district of Bharat said that the Taliban had started construction on the people's private lands, which were previously declared as "emirates".
Local residents said it was unclear whether the Taliban would build government facilities on these lands or hand them over to the people in question to build houses.
Several residents of Andisha town, west of the industrial town of Herat, told Afghanistan International on Sunday, October 16, that Taliban armed forces had started construction work on more than 10 hectares of people's private land since three days.
