The President of the United States signed an executive order so that future presidents could not change his decorations and gilding in the main room of the White House (the Oval Office). Donald Trump, who was active in real estate before entering politics, has dramatically changed the look of the official office of the President of the United States in his second term. Notable among these changes is the addition of gold trim to the office door and wall, which former President Barack Obama said made the White House look like a Cheesecake Factory restaurant.
