Several residents of Badakhshan and Balkh told Afghanistan International that the Taliban is destroying and seizing land and personal property of civilians under the pretext of rebuilding, expanding markets and creating public facilities.
According to them, in some cases the Taliban gives these properties to people and circles close to them in order to create business centers in them.
