The Taliban's interior ministry says the group's cyber police department is investigating details of a mobile phone that its owner says was stolen in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh, and later found in Kabul. Mohammad Munir Hussain, a Bangladeshi citizen, previously told Afghanistan International that he purchased a Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra phone on August 7 in Dhaka, but two days later, while boarding a bus, his phone was stolen from his pocket. He said images from Samsung's tracking app show the phone's location is recorded on the cable.
