The family turned to a 36-year-old urologist they knew, who performed the surgery at home. After that, the boy developed sepsis, and the doctors had to amputate the damaged tissue to save his life.
The investigative committee opened a criminal case and the doctor was arrested. Experts are investigating the circumstances of the incident.
