Iran stings France: respect the human rights of the protesting students!

Iran summoned the French ambassador in Tehran to a reprimand meeting, following what it defined as violent suppression of high school student protests in France and widespread violations of human rights.

The Iranian Foreign Ministry called on France to respect fundamental rights, including the right to peaceful and non-violent assembly.
