The elections in Brazil: going to a second round of the presidential elections. Bolsonaro won the first round

Remember the arrogance of the left-wing candidate, the incumbent president and hater of Israel, Lola da Silva from the interview here two days before the elections?

He was convinced that he was winning and achieved more than 50% already in the first round.

Well, he didn't. The right-wing candidate Bolsonaro defeated him 47% against 45% and since none of them achieved more than 50%, a second round will be held on 25.10.

Bolsonaro's situation is better for the second round. In the parliamentary elections in Brazil (which were also held yesterday), Bolsonaro's party strengthened by about 20% in the lower house and doubled its strength in the upper house (the Senate).

Bolsonaro can certainly be pleased.

Now the eyes are on 25.10
