The hero pilot of the Fly Dubai flight, Smith Machar, was moved to tears when he recounted to the Prime Minister of India, Modi, the difficult moments he went through:

"You are my biggest role model. The way you strengthen and encourage me today fills me with pride. I suffered many injuries, but I told myself that I had to get up and act. At that moment, I gathered all my strength and pushed myself to open the cockpit door."

We wish the hero a lot of health.

He seems to be in good shape. A big thank you to the heroic Israelis who took care of him on the plane and saved his life.
