The Brazilian presidential election

The Brazilian presidential election

This coming Sunday the citizens of Brazil will go to the polls to elect a president.

The two leading candidates are:

1. Lula da Silva, the current president, a leftist - a definite Israel hater.

2. Flavio Bolsonaro - son of former Brazilian president Jair Bolsonaro (who is serving a prison sentence) - a right-wing man who loves Israel and is pro-Trump, and a close friend of Argentine President Javier Millay.

The polls in Brazil predict that none of the candidates will get more than 50% of the votes in the first round, therefore both candidates will reach the second round (which will be held on 25.10) which according to the polls in Brazil seems to be very close with a slight advantage for da Silva.

At the same time, the Polymarket polls show a clear advantage for Bolsonaro (60/40) - that is, for a revolution.

If Bolsonaro wins and the government in Brazil becomes right-wing, the important transformation of the South American continent will be completed. Brazil is an important country in it - the last significant country that still has a left-wing government that is hostile to Israel.

Flavio Bolsonaro came to Israel several times and even recently visited the Western Wall.

Let's hope that the next time he reaches the Wall it will be as the next president of Brazil.
