Interviewer: According to the latest estimate I saw, you control 60% of the Gaza Strip. Is the intention still to return all of this territory?

Netanyahu: No. The intention right now is to ensure that the horrific attack that took place on October 7... will never happen again.

Interviewer: But Mr. Prime Minister, that is not the question. The question is about those 60% of the Gaza Strip under IDF control. As of today, is your intention still to reach a situation where all of this territory is returned to the Palestinians?

Netanyahu: No. My goal right now is to ensure that Hamas terrorists still in Gaza... will not have the capability to carry out another attack.
