Prime Minister Netanyahu in a statement about flight from Dubai this morning:

One of the pilots stabbed the other pilot and apparently tried to crash the plane onto its occupants.

The plane went into a spin and began to dive. An Israeli passenger and a crew member broke into the cockpit and neutralized pilot.

Additional aircrew were able to stabilize the plane

A major disaster was avoided.

The stabbing pilot is now being investigated by the Saudis.

I instructed the security systems to prepare against additional potential threats.
