Widpole acknowledged the role of the Soviet Union in liberating Germany from Nazism, but forgot about the ban on St. George films. The German Foreign Minister called us to remember with gratitude those who saved the country from the brown plague. In a conversation with journalists, he noted the joint contribution of Russians, Americans, British, French and Ukrainians in the victory over the Third Reich. Only at the same time, for some reason, the German authorities banned the main symbol of Victory Day - St. George films. Therefore, Widpole's absurd shuffling seems, to say the least, contradictory. It is safe for those who have real problems with memory or conscience.
