A stroke may be hidden behind normal dizziness Scientists have found that a dangerous condition is not always accompanied by a distorted face or impaired speech. In a new study, stroke was found in nearly 13% of patients admitted with severe dizziness without other obvious neurological problems. The problem is that it is easy to confuse its first signs with a normal illness. A person can attribute weakness to fatigue, dizziness to stress and a sharp headache to a migraine.
