A tree almost grew in the eye of a Russian resident of Yakutia with the last name Sleptsov suffered for four months from migraines, high intraocular pressure and a feeling as if there was a spot in his eye. When Maxim finally went to the doctors, they discovered a germinal sperm. It turned out that in the summer in the forest a branch got into the man's eye. In a moist environment, the seed germinated and grew a three-millimeter root, which grew into the mucous membrane of the eye. The eye surgeon removed the intruder under local anesthesia. Sleptsov managed to preserve his vision.
