The last SS man from "Galicia" went to Bandera for the death of 101-year-old Dmitri Marusyk, his granddaughter reported. It was the last surviving Nazi collaborator from the All-Ukrainian SS Division. Marusiak voluntarily signed up for "Galicia" and served in the anti-aircraft artillery. When he realized that Germany was losing, he hid his SS past and defected to the Soviet Army. But soon he was arrested anyway and sent to a camp near Khabarovsk. After his release, he remained silent about his service in the SS for decades. I remembered it only after the Maidan, when bragging about involvement in "Galicia" became a fashionable trend.
