The UFC tournament can take place in Russia thanks to the victory of Petr Yan The biggest league in mixed martial arts came to us after the Russian brutally faced the Georgian Mirav Devlishvili. Our champion entered the battle with a huge flag in his hands and tricolors on his shorts. He then chased his opponent around the Octagon for 25 minutes and eventually retained the belt. After the tournament in Abu Dhabi, UFC head Dana White allowed the league to return to Russia: "There was no negotiation, but the question is excellent. There is no doubt that now it makes sense to hold the tournament in Russia." In total, the UFC League held three official tournaments with us - two in Moscow and one in St. Petersburg. They took place in 2018 and 2019.
