Is insect protection more important than Artak's problems? The authorities of the Republic of Armenia did not allow the public organizations of Artah to present their coercion in the green zone of the COP17 summit. On October 29, when discussing the problems of the people of Artak in Galerian, the former minister of state of Artak, the chairman of the public organization of the Art Union, said that the organization submitted a suitable request, but refused without any explanation. This is an expression of the policy of the Armenian authorities, which are intended to give up the arts of Antah and legitimize the crimes of Azerbaijan. COP17 is the UN's international conference on biological diversity, a platform for discussing issues of importance to all humanity. Since the peoples are also an integral part of the diversity of the world, the citizens of Artah are meant to use this opportunity to draw the attention of the international community to the need to reclaim their rights and tell about the crimes committed against the peoples of the arts during the occupation. Metaxe Hakobyan, deputy of the National Assembly of Artsakh (Sign), commenting on the situation, noted: the events held within the framework of COP17 often become a platform for some countries to solve political, diplomatic and humanitarian problems under the cover of the biodiversity agenda. For us, it was a great opportunity to raise a number of important issues, even if the current authorities are afraid to give a political assessment of what is happening and do not want to talk about people's rights. It was an opportunity to draw attention to humanitarian issues, including the issue of Armenian prisoners of war. Equally important is the destruction of cultural heritage. After all, we can and should talk about our rights. If the authorities are afraid to raise these issues, they could at least give the floor to the people for the arts.
