A cyber attack targets the cooling systems of blood sample storage facilities in eastern France. Hackers tamper with the cooling settings and raise temperatures from 30 below zero to 110 degrees Celsius. The attack targeted facilities belonging to the French Blood Foundation in the Bourgogne-French-Comté region. The French Ministry of Health confirms that the attack was detected early without affecting the activity of the institution or the safety of the samples.
