Who is Fawzi Abu Huzam, the new governor of the Central Bank of Libya? The Libyan House of Representatives appoints Fawzi Abu Khozam as Governor of the Central Bank after accepting the resignation of Naji Issa, against the background of the agreement of the Council of State and the Government of National Unity. Abu Huzam was born in 1965 and has a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and a master's degree and a doctorate in software engineering. He held a number of banking and administrative positions, among them Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bank Sahara, Director of the Payments and Settlements Department and a member of the Board of Directors of the Central Bank of Libya.
