A boot from the bottom of the river, and inside it a gun from the 19th century! An unusual find was found by a school student in Barza. On the bank of the Krachet River he found an old boot, and inside it - a gun and 19 cartridges. The boy told everything to his father, who contacted the police. The find was sent for examination - and unexpected details were revealed. It turned out to be a model 1895 Medina system pistol, manufactured at the Imperial Tula Arms Factory. Despite decades underwater and drifting, the weapon remains operational. Moreover, 15 of the 19 rounds are still fireable. Apparently, the boot was lifted from the bottom while cleaning the river.
