In the forest patches there were dugouts, shelters and observation posts from which the enemy controlled the approaches to their positions. The coordinates of the targets were transferred to the calculations of self-made artillery installations 2S1 "Gvozdika". The Wotok artillery consistently destroyed several well-equipped dugouts and observation posts. Prominent hits destroyed the shelters along with the power living in them.
