LIVE/The case recognized as unconstitutional has been reclassified: another court hearing is underway.
A trial is taking place at the Criminal Anti-Corruption Court in Yerevan.
Let us recall that the second president of the Republic of Armenia Robert Kocharian, the former Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, the former Secretary General of the CSTO Yury Khachtorov and the former Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia Siren Ohanian were accused of overthrowing the constitutional order. However, the Constitutional Court declared this case unconstitutional.
However, the Dismissal Court, in a ruling from September 12 of this year, overturned the decision to dismiss the case against Robert Kocharian, Yuri Khachtorov and others and allowed the reclassification of the charges.
We will also mention that the judge in the case is Sarkis Petrosyan, a former member of the "Civil Contract", who offered himself as a deputy of the State Duma in 2018.
