According to preliminary data, the cause of the tragic accident on the road to Oshi was a malfunction in the car's brake system. Interior Minister Arpin Sargsyan announced this in a briefing. She emphasized that what happened should force everyone to draw serious conclusions: it is necessary to strengthen the control of the patrol service and equip the roads with security elements. The minister named the vehicle inspection and driving behavior as the most vulnerable issues, and noted that a bill has already been developed regarding mandatory training before obtaining a driver's license. We will recall that the day before, as a result of a collision of four cars on the road in Oshi, nine people were killed and three others were injured.
