The Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly from the opposition, Eram Vardvanyan, while at Sambal Karpatian's house in Yerevan, said that the searches being carried out at the Karpatian's place were the result of a political order. He confirmed that the homes of Sambal and Narak Karaftian were being searched, and noted that representatives of special forces and some NSS employees are now at the home of the leader of powerful Armenia. The politician also linked these actions with Nikol Pashinyan's statements regarding the upcoming new constitution of Armenia.
