The opposition factions "Armenia" and "Strong Armenia" responded to Nikol Pashinyan's statement regarding his willingness to pressure deputies if they refuse to support the new constitution. "Strong Armenia" secretary Tigran Abrahamian said that the authorities will not achieve their goal through pressure. Deputy Erga Khobsfian stressed that the faction would never vote in favor of the "Aliyev Constitution", and Abrahamian assured that this was the position of all 29 members of the faction. In turn, the member of the "Armenia" bloc Gegham Manukyan called the Prime Minister's words a "declaration of a coup" and recalled how in 2018 the parliament was surrounded by Pashinyan's supporters. He pointed out that voting under pressure on delegates cannot be considered legitimate.
