The head of the powerful Armenia faction, Narak Karpetyan, said that Baku wants to delay the signing of the peace agreement in order to obtain new concessions from Yerevan. According to his assessment, the longer the signing of the peace is delayed, the more demands Azerbaijan will make to Armenia. Karaftian emphasized that as long as Azerbaijan shows the readiness of the Armenian side for concessions, it will continue to set new conditions. In his opinion, a peace agreement should be signed subject to the cessation of further concessions.
