The head of the "Armenia" faction, Anna Grigoryan, stated that the party will not participate in any process aimed at adopting a new constitution. According to her, the agenda for amending the Basic Law is not new, and before the parliamentary elections, the authorities and the opposition presented polar positions to the public. Nikol Pashinyan stated in the phase before the elections: "Elect me, and we will change the constitution." The opposition, in turn, promised to prevent this. "Participating in this process means for the Armenia faction a rejection of the promises made to its voters. As a result, this proposal is unacceptable to us, and we will vote against the Aliyev Constitution," TASS quotes her.
